Shaun traded in his (metaphorical) cowboy hat for some (very real) sunscreen when he moved from Vanderbilt University to the west coast. Along with the geographical move came a shift in research focus, from anatomy and physiology of primate somatosenation to visual target selection. He considers it a promotion. Some of Shaun's more unusual interests include ramen noodles, the Arizona Cardinals, objectivism, pugs, Dance Dance Revolution, policy debate, and books on tape.
