Ziad M. Hafed received his Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University in 1997, 1999, and 2003, respectively. After a brief introduction to machine vision, Ziad developed a strong interest in human vision. One of his main objectives is to learn about the links between eye movements and perception in the visual system. Outside the lab, Ziad is interested in photography, although he is more of a self-taught amateur than a professional artist.
